Different types of heavy equipments are used for different applications and purposes. They are most commonly used in performing tasks necessary to complete a construction project. An excavator mainly consists of a boom bucket and cab on a rotating platform called a House that sits on top of an undercarriage with tracks or wheels. Nowadays most companies favor mini excavators because of its mobility and flexibility. It can easily be maneuvered to reach a narrow part of the area. Also another good reason is that it is suitable to any other attachment. Since the primary purpose of this is to dig out the ground other attachments attached to the excavator can improve the quality of the construction job and perform other tasks.
Excavators are one of the greatest engineering tools that have been manufactured to this date. These heavy machines are steady strong and extremely efficient. They are extensively used in construction work and other civil engineering tasks. These solid tools dig up the soil and carry huge amounts of debris and move them from one place to another. Excavator Arm: The arm is attached to the lower part of the frame chassis and has two main sections that are joined with a hinge. The sections have pistons that move them. When the first piston extends the rod pushes against the arm and raises it thus extending the section. The second arm then contracts and expands thus raising and lowering the second section. To help the excavator to scoop and dig the arm has a bucket loader. Tracks They are rigid and fixed in one place. The tracks are stationed around a series of gears that turn after receiving power from the drive shaft that is connected to the engine. When the tracks are in gear they roll the excavator backward and forward in a straight line.
